Joanne Gribler PT, DPT, CMTPT

Dr. Joanne Gribler received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Cincinnati, OH, where she was a 2-year Division I athlete for Cross Country and Track and Field. After sustaining injuries that precluded her from competing, she hung up her running shoes and picked up a swim cap – walking onto the University of Cincinnati’s Division I Swimming and Diving team, where she participated for her remaining two years. Upon graduating in 2010, Dr. Gribler went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Gribler relocated to DC in June 2016 from Houston, TX and served as a staff physical therapist and later clinic director in at her previous post.

Outside of work she teaches the Manual Muscle Trigger Point Therapy course series for Myopain Seminars in Bethesda, MD.  An avid runner, swimmer, and cyclist, Dr. Gribler can be seen in and around the Capital region training for and competing in triathlons and other endurance sports events and has a special interest in treating these populations. Dr. Gribler employs her certifications in Manual and Dry Needling Trigger Point Therapies as well as a focus on improving biomechanics to achieve long-lasting positive outcomes for her patients.
